Terms and Conditions

"We", "us", "our" refers to Bourne Car & Van Hire. "You", "your", "hirer" refers to the person or company hiring the vehicle. "Vehicle" refers to any motor vehicle hired from us.

• Must be aged between 21-75 years (25+ for minibuses and 7.5t vehicles)
• Must hold a full UK driving licence for minimum 2 years
• Must provide valid photo ID and proof of address
• Must pass our licence verification checks
• Additional drivers must meet the same requirements and be declared

• Vehicles must be collected and returned during business hours unless arranged otherwise
• A thorough inspection will be conducted at collection and return
• Any damage must be reported immediately
• Vehicles must be returned with the same fuel level as provided
• Late returns will incur additional charges

• Full payment is required before vehicle collection
• Additional charges will be applied for any damage, fines, or excessive cleaning requirements

• Insurance is included with standard excess
• You are liable for the excess amount (£750-1500) in case of damage or theft
• Insurance may be void if terms are breached
• You must report any accidents to police and us immediately
• You are responsible for all fines, penalties, and parking charges

The vehicle must not be used for:

• Racing, rallying, or any competitive events
• Driving instruction or testing
• Carrying passengers for hire or reward
• Towing
• Off-road driving or on unsuitable terrain
• Any illegal purposes

• 24/7 breakdown assistance is provided
• You must contact RAC immediately in case of breakdown or Us in case of accident
• Do not arrange repairs without our authorization
• We will provide replacement vehicles where possible

• Free cancellation more than 72 hours before collection
• 50% charge for cancellations 24-72 hours before collection
• Full charge for cancellations less than 24 hours or no-shows
• We reserve the right to cancel bookings due to vehicle unavailability

We collect and process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws. Your information is used solely for rental purposes and legal requirements.

These terms are governed by English law and subject to the jurisdiction of English courts. Any disputes will be resolved through the appropriate legal channels.
